i don't usually use them in my own language (french) because i like speaking a "correct" language, but when it comes to english, i don't mind that much, maybe because that's how i learn the language. learning it through people speaking, i'm used to slang and if i don't really use them, i'm okay with it!

i try to maintain formal language, and by that, i mean i’m trying as much as possible to use a good vocabulary and not abbreviations of words.
i just deliver information and i usually type fast, so i don’t have an issue, i guess.

i'm not following any; it just doesn't come naturally to me.
you just have to know where you shouldn't use any of the contractions.
i simply don't like using them that much because it doesn't feel natural to me when writing.
