Having had the opportunity over the last few years to fill in for Vicki Fenton at various events, I have seen the value of being a chamber ambassador. Even in this small role, I have been able to meet new businesses, build networking connections with fellow ambassadors and employers and learn how as a representative of DWS we are able to partner with employer to better serve the residents of cache valley with their employment goals. I would welcome the opportunity to be an active part of the chamber ambassadors to bring value for businesses and our community.
I want to be a Chamber Ambassador because of the networking opportunities I could provide the Chamber and Utah State. I want to create a better connection between the community and the University by providing the Chamber with qualified students to serve them, as well as, having the Chamber provide opportunities for students to get more involved in the community.These opportunities will help build value in our local businesses and our community.
I want to have the opportunity to make connections between Utah State and the Cache chamber of commerce. I know that with the connection I have at the University I will be able to provide the chamber with students who are wanting some real world experience with business. Creating a win-win environment for the chamber and students.
I want to be a chamber ambassador to provide opportunities to students and the business community by linking the two. By providing the businesses a connection to the college I can get information and opportunities to the students for things such as internships, external involvement, and meetings/ visits to different businesses in our community.

Chad Campbell BTECH President, asked me if I would consider representing the College by functioning as a Chamber Ambassador. I agreed, and felt it would be a good fit for what we trying to do with the CBRC in helping businesses begin and grow throughout the valley, as well as continuing a relationship with the Chamber.
I enjoy social interactions with people. I love to learn about what people do professionaly and what drives them to do that. I enjoy being able to work in Logan, especially in the historic downtown area. I also really enjoy helping people. Being in my profession, I have to find out what it is that my clients want. In order to do that, I need to get to know them and who they are. This leads to a lot of questions that turn our experience together into something very personal. I feel like I am very good at this. We all go through periods in our lives where we need help, in some way, shape or form. I can't help with everything, but I know that I enjoy trying. I also know that I am very good at interacting and helping people. I think that being an Ambassador would be something that I would be very good at, and that I would very much enjoy.
