Jacksepticeye's impact on his followers mental health

What is your opinion about youtubers talking about mental health on Twitter?

  1. No opinion
  2. I think it’s hard to do well, because they’re internet famous on social media saying how social media is bad but asking you to support them on their social media platforms. I don’t think Twitter is the right place to write essays on mental health, but I think a tweet here and there can be productive and almost a check in to your followers and yourself.
  3. I like it if they agree with me.
  4. I think that it is a generally good thing to do to spread awareness. One possible worry I would have is Youtubers spreading potentially harmful misinformation about mental health, whether on accident or on purpose.
  5. Never been on twitter before so I don’t know
  6. I don't use Twitter, but I think that it is a good way for youtubers to reach their audience in a more interactive way and because they have influence, they might have a better voice in that space than they do speaking from a video or from a livestream with thousands of messages flying by at once.
  7. None of my business.
  8. It's good, needs to be less stigmatized.
  9. I like it when the talk about mental health in general since it is very important, not just to me, to everyone. It makes people feel more safe so they can talk about their own issues. I personally don’t use twitter actively (I don’t post stuff myself) but i live the Retweet button because with that thing you can spread a tweet so far into the internet. When Jack posts something about mental health you just need to hit „retweet“ and people who would not have seen it otherwise, see it and it might even help them!
  10. I think it is a good waybfor them to connect with their audience on the topic, but can also cause an issue if the youtuber in question is poorly informed on the topic.
