Please explain the reasoning behind choices 1, your most preferred supermarket, and 8, your least preferred.
tesco is near my place and i love to shop there because of the quality; i have never been to iceland store.

i used to visit marks and spencer frequently because i felt a sense of familiarity there, and i preferred it because i haven't visited it in a while.
i like technological things; i really enjoy buying them.
quality and price
it is not possible to mark all of them blindly as i am not confident about them. sorry.
i can get a wide variety of quality products that meet my needs.
1. wide range and affordable
2. bad experience from staff
i haven't visited any.
service and availability of quality products
look for any reviews plus some trustworthy assurance that the webpage will not spread infections and adware and spyware. never download anything from websites where reviews mention infections and adware and spyware. it might be less expensive to get a whole album rather than buy music song-by-song. this can also allow you to have a few extra songs. you may also be glad you took a chance and discovered a new great song.
value for money
aldi is very cheap and is good for students and bulk buying, lidl is to me a copycat of aldi.
asda has the brands i need for a portion of the price, and iceland food is mainly frozen, and i prefer to prepare meals fresh daily.
i choose number one because i work near it and always shop there, also asda, where i can buy goods at the lowest price. lidl is my least preferred because they sell products of poor quality.
quality
better quality. frozen food.
affordable high-quality products
purely for proximity reasons
the reason behind my most preferred supermarkets is that i don't have to travel far as they are closer to my area, and i have also become a sort of regular customer in these stores. the reason for my least preferred choices is that i rarely see them around, and they are pretty far away.
m&s is my preferred supermarket as i think the products are higher quality, fresher, and it is also one of the nearest supermarkets to me. i rated lidl my least preferred store as i find the layout depressing, the products inferior, and the customer service lacking.
ease - good layout, not too busy, staff much better than tesco.
sainsbury, i prefer sainsbury, because it is near and has good quality. i least prefer iceland, because i want to buy fresh products; i think they only have frozen food.
i consider quality as well as quantity and price - i don't believe the other stores can provide me with all three (although aldi) has since been voted the best supermarket of the year.
they are either more local and have good deals, or they are upscale stores with amazing food that tastes better when cooked.
tesco is local to me and it's quite cheap. even though iceland is cheap, it's far away from me and the quality of the products is not good.
1 - loyalty card and plenty around (convenience)
8 - none near me, hard to park and not very healthy
i tend to go for ready meals, fish, and fresh vegetables; m&s and waitrose have the best fresh vegetables and fruits. ready meals also appear healthier, seem less processed, and they have a much bigger variety of mediterranean meals as opposed to indian and chinese, which are found in the other supermarkets.
the reason i rated lidl as high as m&s and waitrose is that they have german products which i cannot find anywhere else.
the least preferred: i have never been to iceland, mainly because i do not think there is one locally where i live, and where i have seen them, they seemed to be in rough areas. i have been to aldi once 10 years ago, and i remember they did not have much variety, but it may be a matter of routine; i hate change.
i only shop at m and s, waitrose, tesco, and iceland, so i can't rank the rest. tesco is too big, and they move things around, so i can't find anything. the staff are not really very helpful. waitrose is smaller, so my shopping gets done quicker and has nicer staff. m and s is the same as waitrose.
waitrose always offers great customer service and reward schemes (my waitrose card) which gives you a free paper and coffee when you shop. the fresh produce is always of high quality. lidl was my least favorite as i do not like the layout of the shop and since i purchase a lot of fresh produce, they do not really cater to my needs.
near home
i also like sainsbury's because they always have a good range of products and label 'vegan' on all their vegan items, making it easy for me to see what fits my dietary choice.
closest to my house
value for 1
8 has not been in there for a while.
1- best quality although too expensive. where i aim to do most of my grocery shopping someday.
2- never heard of it.
well, their location and some products can be found that other shops do not. also, prices.
best quality - 8, low quality - 1
quality
waitrose has better quality food, while iceland, aldi, and lidl are cheap with poor quality. you get what you pay for!
1,cheap basic food, discounts on branded food and toiletries, close to my house
8,there's none where i live and work...
sainsbury's - quality is poor
lidl - nice products, cheap but quality
all sainsbury's stores provide parking spaces and i can collect points on my nectar card.
i have never been to aldi.
1 - good food quality and wide assortment, though expensive. 8 - the opposite.
asdasd
tesco is local and has the most parking available. also, if it is cheaper anywhere else, i get money off my next shop.
selection and quality of food; origins of food and convenience of location to where i live.
marks and spencer - as the most organized fully supplied and iceland - as the least organized and untrustworthy products.
waitrose, fresh good quality
8 basic, not usually fresh, cast-offs
i don't have any around my area.
tesco and asda local, prefer m&s food. lidl and aldi - never been.
i prefer waitrose the most as i believe they have the best quality products available, and i prefer iceland the least as i feel they don't have a lot of products to choose from.
sainsbury's has a huge variety of choice and quality, while iceland is very unhealthy and has little variety, plus the layout of the stores is very unattractive.
asda - good promotions, perfect variety of products; aldi - have never been there.
because of the prices, but some stores are providing better quality, although it is too expensive for me. and i don't like iceland because everything is frozen.
asda is the most preferred because it has a lot of everyday products at low prices and good quality. aldi is the least preferred because i never shop there.
