when it comes to privacy concerns, i believe tiktok can be as unsafe as any other social media. however, when it comes to spreading misinformation, tiktok can be a very dangerous tool, since its videos are able to reach a huge audience in a very short period of time, and this can definitely pose a threat to a country’s national security.

as mentioned before, it is hard to define what misinformation is and to ban tiktok in the country. since modern society values human rights greatly, people should have the right to choose to use the platform. i do agree that some laws or regulations can be established on the issue in order to prevent privacy violations.

as i have said, people are misinformed about how tiktok works, where it is based, and how their data is managed. tiktok claims that it does not store any facial images from the filters, so they cannot identify who is behind the screen.

maybe tiktok videos can be screened more thoroughly to avoid information being leaked that could affect a country’s security.

if tiktok obtains data that could pose a threat not only to an individual but to a nation, then it must be banned.
