Opinion poll on family features in Japan

Please explain the above answer

  1. Family is my all
  2. my career will make money for family so if i dont have enogh , i can not take care my wife and kids.
  3. Creating a family is something I might be interested in the feature...or let's say it is something that I want to have as one of my options of the life decision. Even so, for now, I think I would like to focus on my career. Creating family means becoming a mother. You need a certain commitment for this decision. When you take a maternity leave, you need to get some time breaks from your work. After becoming a mother, your working time would be more limited than it used to be since you have to spend your time with your family after work. Because of those reasons, first, I'd want to develop my career and then want to see if I want to create a family. Since I only have few years of working experience, it is not the time for me to create a family and I am not sure if I am interested in that decision yet. Also, Japan is still having a strong masculine society and hard working culture. Being mother-worker is mostly disadvantage if the company expects you to work in a ''traditional way''. Also, cooking, raising children, house works are still considered as a mother's job. Though it is changing gradually but I think it is not enough. Female needs to commit a lots more for other activities aside from job.
  4. Both are important because my mother did that both and I'd like to be like her.
  5. Career success should bring me with personal happiness but having a family will bring my family as well as my friends perhaps with happiness.
  6. To have my own family is my dream since I was 14.
  7. if i had children it is hard to continue working. So I think it is not so important to success in the job.
  8. I think it's more important for me to get married and have kids than succeed in career.
