we should define more precisely what we mean by stereotypes. here, socially shared opinions regarding different characteristics of a language: its beauty or ugliness, its level of difficulty, its poetry...? i would say that the points concerning the difficulty of lithuanian and its lexical proximity to russian were stereotypes.
i heard things like 'this language is useless, only spoken in russia' - wrong. 'they (russian people) would pay you a lot for you to speak their language' - wrong, more and more are speaking english and even french, but it is true that they pay a lot for any service you provide them.

that french is a very artful and beautifully sounding language, but it is not.
before i heard that they are hard to learn, but i found them more interesting than difficult.
the grammar is horribly difficult. writing it is really difficult.
yes: "it's too hard for foreigners to learn this language" or "it is easier than french."
many exceptions to the rules
won't need the language

i think that the french language has tons of stereotypes, such as people who speak it being too fancy, cocky, even arrogant. it's the language of the upper class, therefore a french-speaking person allows themselves to feel superior to others and so on.
i don't know about any.
sounds very nice, like singing.
it sounds like frogs.
about the difference between portuguese and brazilian portuguese.
yes, of course. but i didn't want to consider what people said because i want to build my own opinion.
stereotypes: it's a language for rude people; it's not an elaborate language.
