Which one is more important to you

Please explain the above answer

  1. Family is my all
  2. my career will make money for family so if i dont have enogh , i can not take care my wife and kids.
  3. Creating a family is something I might be interested in the feature...or let's say it is something that I want to have as one of my options of the life decision. Even so, for now, I think I would like to focus on my career. Creating family means becoming a mother. You need a certain commitment for this decision. When you take a maternity leave, you need to get some time breaks from your work. After becoming a mother, your working time would be more limited than it used to be since you have to spend your time with your family after work. Because of those reasons, first, I'd want to develop my career and then want to see if I want to create a family. Since I only have few years of working experience, it is not the time for me to create a family and I am not sure if I am interested in that decision yet. Also, Japan is still having a strong masculine society and hard working culture. Being mother-worker is mostly disadvantage if the company expects you to work in a ''traditional way''. Also, cooking, raising children, house works are still considered as a mother's job. Though it is changing gradually but I think it is not enough. Female needs to commit a lots more for other activities aside from job.
  4. Both are important because my mother did that both and I'd like to be like her.
  5. Career success should bring me with personal happiness but having a family will bring my family as well as my friends perhaps with happiness.
  6. To have my own family is my dream since I was 14.
  7. if i had children it is hard to continue working. So I think it is not so important to success in the job.
  8. I think it's more important for me to get married and have kids than succeed in career.

What are your thoughts on marriage?

  1. not bad. but not simple
  2. It is one of my options but not the life course you definitely go.
  3. I think it's one of the most important thing in human's life.
  4. When the right time comes, it will be the time.
  5. It's a step to make my own family.
  6. First of all, it's just for love. If i met someone who makes me think like "i wanna be with him all the life!" , it is dnatural to get marry. And there another reason. When we get old, who's care of us ? These days Japanese population gets down. so we should have children. To get child we should get marry.
  7. Happiness: to have a husband and kid(s) that I love. Patience: to share money and time with my family (husband&kids) rather than to use them all for myself. to adjust myself to a new culture/traditions that could be my husband's

Do you feel pressured by society to start a family?

How do you imagine an ideal family?

  1. Smiling everyday
  2. i dont know
  3. I'm not really sure if I want to have a child in the feature. So for me, ideal family would be, the couple, both working and helping growing each other. No children or maybe one. Would like to have a financial stability in family so that tiy don't have to be bothered by worrying about money. Also, you can spend money for something good! Volunteer-activities, donation and such.
  4. I think the ideal family is the family which father also join to bring up the children. If not, good relationship between the father and the mother will not be continued i believe.
  5. Depends on to what extent I or my partner can commit to family designing, hence no plan in at the moment.
  6. I don't know. When I think about it, Valjean from Les Miserable always appears in my mind. He loves everything as they are and trying to be honest, sincere, and modest at his best.
  7. Father and mother and some children.Fother works outside and mother does house work.
  8. Love and respect each other Grow up together

Which parent played a more significant role bringing you up?

How do you view modern family?

  1. I don't know
  2. i think i will make modern family.cuz im old thinking
  3. In Japan? The couple are both working, having maybe 1 or 2 children. In the world trend, maybe no longer has to be bothered by your sex-orientation. What I means is a gay couple! ( In Japan Gay marriage is not legal yet so not the case here though)
  4. The roles in the family of mother and father are gradually changing. Men start to play bigger part in rasing childrea.
  5. Parent/s and child/ren
  6. I have no idea. I don't have a family at the moment.
  7. As you know, Society is changed. Like woman become to be more easy to contunue her job and so on. So it's tend to be more singles and few children. I worry about small birth rate. We should think about that .
  8. More families are just one parent and child/children than before. Less time with children since more parents have their job than before.

How do you view your own role in family settings?

  1. me , wife and one kid
  2. In my family right now? If so, I'm a daughter. I have 2 parents and one brother and me. Though I already left my parents's place.
  3. As a dayghter, I play role of helping mother in cooking or cleaning.
  4. Probably devote myself much to it but that as well depends on what I will be doing i.e. work in the future.
  5. I don't understand the question.
  6. I guess as a daughter i should take care of my family especially when my parent get old.
