Can Young Lithuanian Consumers Drive Economic Transformation Through Sustainable Consumption?

My name is Justas Ostasevičius, and I am a student of Economics and Management at Vilnius University, Kaunas Faculty.

I am conducting an academic research project titled “Can Young Lithuanian Consumers Drive Economic Transformation Through Sustainable Consumption?”. The aim of this study is to explore how young Lithuanian consumers perceive sustainable products, their willingness to pay for them, and how such consumer behavior might influence the country’s economic transformation toward responsible and sustainable business practices.

Have you heard of “Sustainable business”? In your opinion, what does “sustainable business” mean?

  2. Yes, when business uses good material for the nature
  3. probably a business that recycles its products or uses recyclable materials for product making.

  5. I have heard of that. In my opinion sustainable business is the business that creates products that are good for environment
  6. Yes. It’s a business that contributes to planet saving by selling products that are made from eco-friendly, biodegradable materials or selling services that are about sustainability.

  2. Yes, to minimze the effect on the nature
  3. probably when you buy more expensive products that serve their purpose longer.
