Cultural events favoured by young people

Which event impressed you the most? Why?

  1. don't know
  2. mid summer
  3. anal one
  4. independence restoration day, because it was a united celebration. a lot of people sharing the same idea.
  5. carnival užgavėnės. it is celebrated differently than in my country.
  6. it's hard to choose only one cultural event since every event i participated in was very stunning, but i think the event that impressed me the most was the fair of kaziukas. it was beneficial for me as a foreigner to be surrounded by people from different cultures and their culture, and to feel that magical spirit which is hard to describe.
  7. freshman celebration we traveled around vilnius and learned a lot about vilnius.
  8. the independence day. it was just so beautiful. i was just shocked by how the people love their country.
  9. i liked how you involve foreigners during cultural events, especially uzgavenes, when we get to dance together and make pancakes.
  10. uzgavenes and rumsiskes with all those crazy costumes
  11. for me, anything related to local lithuanian culture was impressive since there is so little to see or do.
  12. i guess st. casimir's fair left the biggest impression on me because there were so many people in the city (although it was freezing cold outside) selling all that traditional stuff like willow branches and honey cakes.
  13. the day of the restoration of the state of lithuania impressed me the most because of the vibe of lithuanians. it was strongly felt, you know, all that unity and pride.
  14. gates of yotva (yotvos vartai) it's like traveling back in time.
  15. uzgavenes, because the snow was so beautiful in rumsiskes!
