NPL 50th Anniversary - Top 100 Players of the NPL

As part of the 50th Anniversary of the Northern Premier League, we are running a campaign to decide the Top 100 players of action from our beginnings in 1968 to today. This is the Nominations poll for players to be included in the voting. 

Rules for Nominations
 

- Players must have played 50 Games for any Northern Premier League Club whilst the club was a member of the League (This can include the League Challenge Cup, President’s Cup and Chairman’s Cup) or 100 games overall in the Northern Premier League across a number of clubs. There is no restrictions to how many players that can be picked from a single club. A exception to this rule can be awarded to a player who has gone further within the English Football Ladder after playing in the league or shown execptional standards in performance or behaviour, which the requirement of games will be reduced to 30
Players who have brought the game,League or a Club into disrepute for their actions are ineligible for the award

 

Fans may only nominate a player once. Any further nominations for that player in the same ballot will result in the nomination being deleted. You can only nominate players once. Any duplicate ballots made will result in all ballots being removed 


The award will be restricted to a maximum of 200 players, of which 10 will be Goalkeepers. If more than 200 players are selected, then a judges panel will shortlist the choices.
