i am in favor of transferring the basic features of the opera to future versions as well. i hope features like mouse gestures, quick access, settings section, ad blocking, password manager, etc. continue in future versions.
the current features of the opera should also be available in versions developed with webkit.

opera 15 is very good.
quick access is very cumbersome and slow, and in addition, pages are constantly crashing.
please keep the customization power and design of the old opera as it is; don't turn it into chrome. this is the reason why everyone uses opera. if these features are removed and replaced with another copy of chrome, no one will use your browser!
the reason i gave up on the app is that the autocomplete feature is not available in this version; otherwise, i would have used it without hesitation.
