Is there anything else you would like to convey to Opera?
na
the opera is perfect. i'm already using coast on my iphone, but there is one issue for me on pc: there are occasional freezes while watching videos. sometimes it happens quite often. i tried it on explorer and chrome, and there are no freezes. i wonder why this is happening. i would appreciate it if you could solve this...
there is no menu, there is no dragonfly, opera with a chrome tab is not opera. it is wrong from the beginning.
take care of yourself.
i find the downloader weak.
bring back my bookmarks and i want a powerful browser with synchronization and fast page loading.
oh, is this what you're doing going to be an opera?
due to the shortcomings you have made, you are still using opera 12. wouldn't it have been better if you had worked on it and created stable software? there are not even bookmarks in the new version, and the hidden toolbar :(
a faster opera a very fast opera only
close the gap on the tabs. there is no gap in all browsers, i always press empty space while switching tabs.
restore the opera to its former state.
you switched to chromium just to gain new customers, but you never thought about your old users. i'm not against chrome, but i love opera very much; if you're going to move it, move our browser with all its features. if the problem is money, release a paid version of opera. but don't kill our opera...
notes
as a long-time opera user, unfortunately, i find myself using firefox. i don't understand the companies' insistence on chromium-based browsers. chromium is a real ram monster. i didn't use google chrome just for this reason. personally, i don't want to use a browser that consumes 4 gb of ram. the same issue occurs with next as well. speed is fine, but i can't say the same for hardware performance; firefox doesn't lose its hardware acceleration even with 25 tabs open.
opera 16 next 'the release of the stable version
i believe that reopening opera with the tabs that were closed is not very necessary.
yes, it has accelerated, but it has only turned into a fast and simple browser. you can't customize the appearance or make many other personal adjustments. so, you might have a ferrari, but if you can't change its color, adjust the steering wheel or the seat, or open the top, then you might as well keep the ferrari.
we want the old opera features back. i will remove 15 and reinstall 12 now.
no.
may your path be clear, i wish you continued success.
menu bars in opera 12.15
i didn't like the chromium-based opera at all and i won't use it. i have used opera for years with great loyalty and i experienced a tremendous disappointment. if i wanted to use a chromium-based browser, i could have preferred chrome or chromium. i used opera because it was original ('presto'). i will never consider installing and using it again. regards.
gnu / linux version of the urgent !!!
don't reduce the features of the opera. opera 15 doesn't give the familiar taste of opera at all.
it's a shame you've ruined this too; at least don't cut off support for the old opera. i definitely won't use the new opera, it's very silly.
why doesn't opera turbo run (at least it looks like that) in version 15?
opera link, note
we have been using opera for years because it is completely customizable; if we wanted to use chrome, we would use it. there was no need for opera, you wasted it.
we want all the established features that make the opera different from other browsers back... aside from that, you can make any developments you want, but these are important.
the personalized settings need to come urgently; if they don't, i'll use chrome, it's better. there's no difference anyway.
i want it to be fast and for the flash player to be fast as well.
advertising!
the new version is not like a new version, sorry. the only advantage is that it is fast. but if the desired features are missing, just being fast does not meet the needs. especially the bookmarks panel (and customizing their positions), reopening the last closed tabs like before, and if the email feature doesn't come back in its old form, i don't think i'll use it much (and there are also mouse shortcuts). if you had directly added the old features and released it in a chrome-based version, you would have seen the praise back then. instead of adding them gradually, i recommend that you directly add the features that were in the previous browser. these are what make opera, opera. that's why i can't stop using it.
if it can reach chrome speed, no one can hold back opera.
blink is a nice move. in addition, there are some features they have ignored for years (like auto complete), which are available in many browsers; they should add them now!
the management/use of rss feeds from the client is very important. with the separation of opera mail, it seems we are deprived of integrated rss management in the browser. i might look for a different browser just for this. be careful.
completion of the final version in a short time.
we love opera as opera. we love it for the features that make it opera. if i can't even right-click on an image and see its properties, then this is not opera. anyone who knows about opera is surely already aware of chrome. and if we wanted to use chrome, we would already be using it! you changed the engine, at least give us back our old interface.
the opera has turned out very badly; i hope you correct your mistake soon.
opera's transition to webkit to address incompatibilities is positive, but removing the most fundamental features specific to opera will drive its existing limited but loyal users to seek alternatives. an example of this is me, who after using opera for 8 years, couldn't stand the incompatibilities and started using chrome a couple of months ago. it doesn't seem possible for me to switch to opera 15 in its current state.
you are very very very very... slow....
we want to use opera, not chrome.
the advanced settings screen was available in the old opera, but i couldn't see it in version 15.
compatibility with the 1password program, frequent crashes in the macos version, a lightweight alternative for those who do not use mail or rss.
it is important to be able to set up the homepage.
opera 12: the best browser by far for most of us; there is no alternative to it. opera 15: useless, like any other browser.
we want to make adjustments by editing the ini files. opera should continue to provide what it has given so far.
presto should be open source.
the progress bar, in its existing form from previous versions, should also be present in the new version.
opera notes and synchronization features must be included, and the current speed dial is very slow and should be improved.
we loved the opera because it is an opera; with the support of google, chrome has quickly reached certain places. don't be envious, don't lose your loyal audience.
security vulnerabilities should be closed. additionally, there are freezes and lags on flash sites. these issues should be resolved.
i want the features of opera.
congratulations, this is the best browser i have used so far. my computer has a low system, but thanks to opera 15, my computer is faster than ever, it doesn't strain the system, and it responds very quickly. congratulations!
we want to see the bookmarks menu again.
it should ask us during the setup where we will store the files that contain our special settings and passwords, etc. i would like to keep them in a folder on my backup drive. after all, we can forget to back up these files before every windows installation.
security should be increased; it can work in cooperation with any antivirus program. there were some issues on sites like youtube, those should be fixed and made more stable.
presto! this is life. let it be open source.
i am in favor of transferring the basic features of the opera to future versions as well. i hope features like mouse gestures, quick access, settings section, ad blocking, password manager, etc. continue in future versions.
the current features of the opera should also be available in versions developed with webkit.
get a grip on yourself.
opera 15 is very good.
quick access is very cumbersome and slow, and in addition, pages are constantly crashing.
please keep the customization power and design of the old opera as it is; don't turn it into chrome. this is the reason why everyone uses opera. if these features are removed and replaced with another copy of chrome, no one will use your browser!
the reason i gave up on the app is that the autocomplete feature is not available in this version; otherwise, i would have used it without hesitation.
let them make prescott and acıkkaynak.
opera users are awesome. don't upset them!!
a
the important features of the opera must definitely be present. notes, for example. it has become like a copy of the new chrome browser :)
so far, we have used intelligence, and i hope it continues like this.
if the features that are the reason we use opera are removed, why should we use opera?
in the renewed opera, resource usage must definitely be at a reasonable level. especially, cpu usage is quite reasonable in the current opera. if resource usage increases in the renewed opera, it would not be good at all. after all, there are users with low-spec computers as well. please take this issue into consideration.
i place great importance on the detailed progress bar that can be positioned at the bottom, which exists in version 12.15 and previous versions, to also be present in the new versions.
the ability to continue from where you left off when the opera is closed during downloads
we want the new opera not to resemble the chrome browser. we want it to maintain its usual originality and innovativeness.
i have been an opera user for 7 years. even the versions from 2006 are still sitting on my computer as setup files; i have always talked about opera with great passion to those around me. i examined the 15 next version and encountered a management panel similar to the chrome interface, which i am not used to at all. i wasn't expecting such changes after the web browser engine change, but please don't create distance between me and my beloved browser like this :( to put it simply, i can't use the keyboard shortcuts that have been there since the very old 9.x version, or i can't activate the relevant feature. (like quickly switching between tabs with the 1-2 keys in the default setting) whether it's the button for accessing closed tabs, the status bar, panel usage, or the email client... please don't deprive us of these beauties :(
i hope that the fundamental features that make opera opera and connect us to it will continue in future versions.
i think that opera9's determination, which it demonstrated, could not be sustained with the success achieved by opera10. opera10 was a revolution, but there was no continuation...
if it can't take the webkit engine as just a core, i think it should give up on this project. at this point, it has no difference from chrome.
they should add to the old version, without removing the existing ones.
let there be an interactive privacy mode with duckduckgo so that users are 100% safe.
what set opera apart from other browsers was its customizability and the opportunities it provided to users. however, in recent versions, it has started to lose these features; for example, even if we change the search engine, it reverts back to google when we close and reopen it. additionally, i don't understand how a version that uses an open-source browser base can be so far from customization. all the features that brought opera to this point have been removed; if such a browser were desired, one would simply use chromium or chrome. the features that make opera opera should not be abandoned. i have many acquaintances who have made opera a philosophy of life, and this situation should not be taken away from them.
the address bar and tab bar appearance should be softened, and there must be a bookmarks menu.
please solve the password manager problem immediately, add disabling cache and history.
opera 15 has definitely turned out amazing. i returned from chrome to that extent.
opera the best, the perfect. in short, the choice of the best is opera...
the settings section is insufficient... we should have more options for intervention...
instead of providing updates collectively, it is more advantageous to offer a version for each added module (feature), and the more topics and discussions there are on news sites, the better it will be.
i wish you would just change presto; the use of 12 is already quite good as it is.
i hope that the old standard opera features will eventually be transferred to the new opera. i have been accustomed to using a browser thanks to opera for almost 7-8 years, and i don't want that to change. of course, i want new features to come, but on top of the old features. opera is opera because of those old features. perhaps switching to a more popular browser engine will increase opera's popularity. standard opera features + webkit will take opera to new heights.
