Process Maturity in Organization Questionnaire Company X

Hi, I'm Mantas Ramanauskas, a student at Vilnius University of Applied Sciences.

I am doing research for my Final thesis "ANALYZING AND OPTIMIZING THE BUSINESS PROCESS AT COMPANY X". The purpose of this study is to analyze the maturity business processes in different offices of disclosed Company X.

Tip before starting the Survey: 

Think of the most important tasks and processes you are part of in your daily job and share your view to the questions below. There is no right or wrong answer and we want to see your perspective.

Shortly about Terms used:

 - Busines Process is a set of tasks and activities, that produce service or product. Processes are usually documented, in most cases in the flow charts, where different steps are described.

 - Key Performance Indicator is a measure to evaluate success of an Organization, Employee, Process or any kind of component within Business scope. This measure is linked to goals and objectives when one wants to achive them by the set deadlines. In short, it is indication of whether affected component is making progress or not.

Example of the Business Process:

Process Optimization process: It can be that company have their own business process that would improve already existing processes. Example of such process could have following steps:

1. Identification of the process that needs to be optimized;

2. What elements of this process must be optimized?

3. How? Can the existing methods be changed?

4. Remove waste from the process, things that not create value;

5. Find out if there is space for automation withing the process;

Process mentioned above have to have responsibles within the company and these are the people that would involve everyone as the time pass. Eventually, as a practitioner of the process, you will be experiencing how it works, you will or will not be informed who can consult you about it and how to follow it. Please note: Process above was given as an perspective (example) on how you can look into this survey. Processes that you must focus on, have to be the ones that affects your daily tasks and involves you in the company's activities.
