I am Mikhail Edisherashvili, a New Media Language student in Kaunas University of Technology. I am recently conducting a research on relations and relationships between different religious groups. - People should respect each other's religious point of view in social media.
- Recently on reels I have been seeing a lot of Christian content (e.g. the 'trad wife' trend) and I get very confused why the algorithm is showing me something that does not match my views at all.
- Religious discussions are often intertwined with political and cultural themes, where superiority of one culture or worldview over another is often expressed. This is especially the case in regard to Islam.
- A lot of people believe that their religion is the 'one and only true religion' and therefore they leave negative comments under posts that involve any type of religion and make other people feel unwelcome and unaccepted.
