The Politics of Eurovision

Greetings! My name is Viktorija, I am a sophomore student of Humanities at Kaunas University of Technology. I am conducting a research on the public perception of the effects of politics on Eurovision and possible ways to tackle occurring issues. The answers will contribute to an ongoing personal project surrounding recent political controversies of Eurovision.

In the recent years, Eurovision has faced many controversies: banning of performances from Russia and Belarus, accusations of unfair voting following the victory of Ukraine, pleas to terminate Israel's participation in 2024, etc. My research seeks to find the opinions of TV viewers in the face of the current situation.

All answers are strictly anonymous, participation is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. The survey should take no longer than 3-5 minutes to finish.

Thank you for participating! You may contact me at [email protected] for any further inquiry.
