Using IT Technologies in the Initial Training Activities of Physical Culture and Sports Specialists

Today, the coach is one of the most important figures in sports, without whom modern sports activities cannot be imagined. Bringing an athlete to the level of international results without the help of a coach is simply impossible.

Modern coaches are trained in specialized higher education institutions. Most coaches typically have considerable experience in sports activities and a wealth of theoretical knowledge from various fields of science: sports theory, medical and biological disciplines, humanities, etc. All this knowledge needs to be systematized and provided to the necessary number of athletes. For this, the coach must operate with a large amount of information and knowledge while forming the required documentation base. At the current level of globalization and intensification of sports activities, effective work by the coach cannot occur without the assistance of innovative information technologies. That is why the goal of our research is to identify priority areas for the use of information technologies in the initial training activities of physical culture and sports specialists.
