What image aligns with your positive perceptions of Russia?
Russia is different for everyone. Perceptions of what is good are also varied. Compare your views with the suggested 50 images. If you wish, write your suggestions at the end of the survey. Results and conclusions will be available for the New Year.
The selection of positive images of Russia turned out to be a challenging task. Perception varies depending on cultural background, place of residence, level of education, age, and a person's experience, as well as the freedom of their perception from manipulations by any media. Taking into account these characteristics that affect a person's views of Russia is a question for the future. This survey excludes: 1) images related to any politics (tsars-general secretaries-presidents-military leaders, political history and conjuncture), 2) clichés, except for the matryoshka: vodka, black caviar, balalaika, bear, 3) household items (except for the samovar), clothing and footwear, 4) images of weapons (including Molotov cocktail), 5) any state symbols (colors, heraldry, sickles and hammers), 6) saints, religious figures, 7) athletes, Komsomol members, beauties - and athletes too, 8) images from painting, music, cinema, television, literature, mythology, history, 9) of course, any images with unequivocally negative associations
