Spread of information and public's reaction to the Ukraine-Russia conflict on social media
Why did you pick that particular option in the question above?
because i support ukraine's right to be an independent state
i can think of how i can trust.
ukrainians were attacked without any real motive that could objectively be considered viable. the russians are committing many war crimes against the innocent people of ukraine.
aggression towards ukraine is aggression towards europe.
because it is the right option.
because after the war, ukraine is going to be in massive debt, and the russian people are manipulated by the few who are in control. neither russians nor ukrainians should be involved in it.
because russia is still the aggressor, and killing innocent people, bombing schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings can never be justified.
because it was a russian invasion of a free country, historical similarities to lithuania
this invasion is not human.
i don't have to comment; the facts speak for themselves.
i think it’s obvious :)
the only right answer
because war was unnecessary and russian actions are inappropriate.
.
i am anti-war, and since russia started this conflict in 2014, i have always been against their aggression towards ukraine. because most of the arguments from the russian government are very pro-ussr.
because i support ukraine.
oh, what a choice? a normal person is always on the side of the suffering. are you really going to support the killers?
i do believe that this nation was not rightfully attacked by russia.
because i don't think there should be war.
why not?
i don’t follow much of what happens in ukraine. plus, the war is not in my country. yet.
an independent european country, our close neighbors. the course of the war in ukraine will determine the situation in the rest of europe. i feel empathy for ukrainians.
because russia started this war.
because russia attacked ukraine and ukraine is fighting for its independence.
because it is true.
the invasion was wrong, but so was the maidan coup in 2014. ivan katchanovski from ottawa university has proven that the maidan massacre was carried out by militants among the protesters, and this was the original root cause of the russia-ukraine war. polls in february 2014 indicated that the maidan protests did not have the support of the majority of ukrainians. in 2008, when president bush forced nato allies to invite ukraine to become a nato member, the majority of ukrainians did not support its nato membership.
i have family in ukraine.
living in lithuania and having extensively known russia's and putin's previous history, there is no motive to voice any kind of support for them.
because i am lithuanian and from my grandparents i know how russia does what they do. ukrainians don't have to explain... we know.
because my country is ukraine.
because war is terrible and russia is a terrorist state.
russia started this war; a lot of propaganda is going on in that country.
i mean, it’s self-explanatory, isn’t it? russia is in the wrong. no one can decide on another country’s or person’s freedom.
because the conflict was caused by russians.
there is no other way. russians are terrorists and criminals.
because it’s the only correct option.
i do not support russia's aggressive and interventionist foreign policy.
because my family has friends there.
i support ukraine because russia is doing wrong things against the ukrainian people.
russia is a terrorist country, and i cannot believe that people are so brainwashed there.
i know history, and i know that russia is an occupier and wants others to be independent.
because ukraine needs to win.
because russia is the aggressor in this situation.
