Technology innovation in hospitality industry

Hilton Worldwide has introduced their latest service that allows the guest to check in and out, choose a room and make extra requests and purchase all through the smartphones. Do you think this innovation is beneficial for the hotel company? Yes/No (please state at least one reason).

  1. i think it is a really good idea as you can already prepare the room (for example) according to guest wishes or book a table in the restaurants; the guest can inform you of any special requests before arrival. in hilton worldwide, the guest still needs to come to the reception to pick up the key.
